This page is about skeinvault.com, the website you are reading. The app at app.skeinvault.com has its own privacy policy, which covers your yarn, your patterns and your account.

What this website collects

Nothing about you. The pages are plain files, the same for everybody. There is no sign-in, no form, no account and no cookie set by us. The website does not know whether you use the app.

What the browser fetches

The pages and the pictures come from Microsoft Azure, which serves them from a location near you. The headline font comes from Google Fonts. Both see the request your browser makes — the address and your browser's name, as every web server does — and we do not receive, keep or read that.

Writing to us

Mail to hello@skeinvault.com is forwarded to a Google mailbox, and is read by one person. It is kept for as long as it takes to answer you, and is not shared.

Measuring visits

We count visits with Umami, a cookie-free counter. It records the page, the country the visit came from, the link that brought you here, and whether the Try free button was pressed — never who you are. It sets no cookie and keeps nothing on your phone, which is why there is no banner to click away.
